Kirby Brown

Kirby Brown has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry  at operations ranging from small boutique restaurants to large  convention hotels and resorts.

As a General Manager for Best  Western Brant Park Inn and Conference Centre for 26 years, he has gained  extensive experience in planning, financial budgeting and cost control,  sales and marketing, operations, and customer care.  Kirby oversees 158  guest rooms and suites, 14 conference rooms, a licensed restaurant,  bar, and patio. He and his team have won numerous awards and accolades  over the years. His hotel has been the market leader in performance,  usually topping 130% of our fair market share. He has also held various  managerial positions at several other establishments, giving him a solid  foundation in the hospitality industry.

Kirby has held many  leadership positions within his community and business organizations.   He is a member of both the Kiwanis Club and the Rotary Club, has served  on local Chambers of Commerce, Tourism Boards, Hotel Associations.  He  has served as president, chair and board member for a variety of  industry boards and is currently a Governor with Best Western  International, Chair of the Brantford Hotel Association, and Chair of  the BW Brand Identity Committee.
